Mount Arjuna Welirang Tour Package

Mount Arjuno-Welirang is a strato volcano in the province of East Java on Java, Indonesia. It is a twin volcano, with the ‘twins’ being Arjuno and Welirang. There is at least one other stratovolcano in the area, and there are around 10 pyroclastic cones nearby.They are located in a 6 km line between Arjuno and Welirang. The Arjuno-Welirang volcanic complex itself lies in the older two volcanoes, Mount Ringgit to the east and Mount Linting to the south. The summit lacks vegetation. Fumarolic areas with sulfur deposits are found in several locations on Welirang.
Tour Itinerary Mount Arjuna And Welirang Trekking :
DAY 1 : SURABAYA ARRIVAL – TUMPANG – BATU
Pick up in Juanda Surabaya airport, transfer to Malang town as far as 120 km. After lunch, visit to Candi Jago and Candi Kidal in Tumpang village area (with traditional transportation called Dokar). Overnight at a hotel in Batu City. (L, D)
DAY 2 : BATU – SUMBER BRANTAS – GUNUNG KEMBAR SATU
After breakfast, start around 07.00 AM. Transfer to the Sumber Brantas village (1.500 asl) as far as 20 km. Started trekking through the region at an altitude of 1.600 asl fields. Then enter Lali Jiwo Forest, which is located on the Northwest side of R.Soerya Forest Park. After trekking for 7 hours, will usually be met with traditional sulfur miners. Afternoon arrive at Saddle Mountain Kembar Satu (2.900 asl) and overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
DAY 3 : GUNUNG KEMBAR SATU – MOUNT ARJUNA (RETURN)
Summit Mount Arjuna (3.339 asl), for 4 hours. Lunch while enjoying views of the surrounding towns can be seen from the top. Return to Saddle Mountain Kembar Satu and overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
DAY 4 : GUNUNG KEMBAR SATU – WELIRANG – BATU
Start at 05.00 AM, summit attack to Welirang (3.156 asl) for 40 minutes. The smell of sulfur was felt in the nose. Exploring the sulfur mining area is done traditionally. Breakfast and down to Sumber Brantas village. Lunch at a local restaurant than continue to surabaya airport or hotel for drop off and adventure ended. (B, L)
